Body-Control-Module (BCM) what are the key area of it?

Body-Control-Module (BCM) is a very complex unit which is responsible for many functions. For example, it is used to control the external and internal lighting, windows, seat heating, car alarm, door opening (lock of doors and trunk), speedometer and odometer, heating of the rear window and mirrors, etc. One of the connectors of the BCM is responsible for the input signal of the blow from the airbag. To simplify everything to the maximum level, it can be said that the BCM is a “controller of the comfort”.

P0190 - P0194 Fuel Rail Pressure

To continue the topic of the error codes, it is time to mention faults with Fuel Rail Pressure system. A fuel rail is essentially a pipe (usually resembling a rail) used to deliver fuel to individual fuel injectors on internal combustion engines.

Error code P0217 - Overheating engine

Error code P0217 is common, like the two previous ones (we wrote about earlier). P0217 is classified as a state of engine overheating or cooling system overheating, which essentially means the same thing. 

There are a lot of causes and consequences of overheating of the engine. It is important that the overheating of the engine is very dangerous and can lead to detonation. That is why when the error P0217 is shown up you need to climb under the hood and fix the problem immediately.

The injector fuel supply system and its errors P0172 and P0171

The injector fuel supply system began to be used in cars in the 80s of the last century. Before that, the down-draft carburetor was responsible for the fuel supply to the cylinders. For today, all modern cars are equipped with injectors, according to Euro5 standards.
